 Welcome to our Santiago home! 

Our aim is to provide you the best location, quality and price combination for your stay in Santiago; also the best transport hub to the northern beaches and the beautiful central mountain parklands.

We are located in a safe, convenient neighborhood of Santiago-de-los-Caballeros, Dominican Republic -- just behind the well-known  Bella Terra Mall, near the major highway intersection of Avenidas Estrella Sadhala   and  Juan-Pablo Duarte.

These guestrooms are available (US$20 - $40): 

* a master bedroom with private bathroom;

        queen-sized bed ;  air-conditioner 

        (US$40 per night for one person)

* a small bedroom with shared bathroom;

        full-sized bed ;  reciprocating fan

        (US$20 per night for one person) 

Contact us to ask about special discounted rates.   If you are a foreigner already in-city, we offer a half-price special each day, on 'first-come' basis. Each extra guest is +US$10.  Additional 'air-beds' are available.  All rooms have Wi-Fi internet.

Many of our favorite shopping and tourist sites are in walking distance. The two major national bus stations, Caribe Tours  and Metro,  are nearby, where you can find transport to other Dominican cities, and north Haiti. Also walk to the 5-star Hodelpa Gran Almirante & Casino (with fine dining, entertainment, and a nice pool). The STI international airport is 20 minutes away by taxi.  

A 15-minute walk or 5-minute  M-car route ride southward will take you to the beautiful campus of PUCMM University and the panoramic view from El Monumento ; a 10-minute A-car ride westward  takes you to the Historic Central District. From our rooftop patio northward you can view the Coastal Mountains, beyond which are  seaside resorts of  Puerto Plata, Sosua and Cabarete.  

There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and American-fast-food franchises; but if you wish to sample our french-creole home meals, tell us your preferences when you arrive. We also can advise you on day-trip excursions and refer you to a reliable local guide (with his own automobile).

We are a multi-cultural family involved with charitable projects, and we enjoy meeting world travelers... we have years of experience in DR & Haiti, and are glad to help with travel advice -- always respecting your preferences, whether for discreet privacy or for friendly conversations.        We look forward to being your Santiago hosts.
